Hawkley is the 100 per cent owner and operator of two Exploration and Pilot Production Licenses in Ukraine’s premier gas basin, the Dnieper-Donets Basin.

The Sorochynska and Chernetska assets have an estimated 118 million barrels of oil equivalent (mainly in gas and gas condensate) of recoverable reserves and resources.

The two five-year licenses are convertible to 20-year Production Licenses upon fulfillment of the work program.

Production from Sorochynska started in Q1 2011 and drilling started on Well #1 at Chernetska in May, 2011. Two more wells are planned for this year.
